GE Hitachi and Virtualware create a new training concept based on immersive VR rooms

The first development is a simulator to train fuel movement operations personnel, in which a physical replica of the required computer connected directly to the virtual environment is used.

GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) and Virtualware have launched a new training concept based on immersive virtual reality rooms. A collaboration for installation, in different locations around the world, of advanced simulators, combining OEM expertise, training content and knowledge of the GE process, with Viroo virtual reality technology.

Viroo is a Virtualware solution that allows any organization, deploy on a real scale (1:1) any virtual reality and multi-user content, thanks to the tracking system and its software platform in rooms of any size. This allows GEH to manage, operate and manage rooms efficiently, as well as generate and include new content, associated with the needs at all times. It is the key to turning advanced technology into a simple and accessible solution for GEH teams.
