When the Circa Resort & casino opened in Las Vegas at the end of last year, did so with a new design concept for sports betting establishments, where visualization solutions have a leading role.

Circa has presented Circa/Sports as “a sportsbook (SportsBook) so big that we have built a casino around it”, comment from the company. With a display capability of 1.000 people from stadium seats, a lounge and private boxes, a new viewing experience is offered, a spectacular three-story display showing live sports broadcasts, powered by multi-screen presentation systems and videowall processors Analog Way LivePremier.

As already published in Digital AV Magazine, the great Led videowall of the Sportsbook has been designed and manufactured by Daktronics.

Guests who prefer to watch their outdoor sports can sunbathe and take a dip in the Stadium Swim, which has six pools from which you have access to another large format and high definition screen powered by Aquilon.

“When we started working in collaboration with display manufacturer Daktronics to find a way to process Circa's huge new sportsbook, we knew that our Aquilon processor was specially prepared for the project “, says Dan Benjamin, Analog Way Regional Sales Director for the Western United States and Canada.

According to Dan Benjamin, the project faced certain challenges. “First of all, it is a gigantic canvas of more than 66 millions of pixels, that requires a processor capable of emitting multiple 4K60 signals in perfect synchronization, with extremely low latency. Secondly, Circa wanted to show dozens of windows of live sports content. We were able to design a bespoke LivePremier Aquilon system to meet and overcome these challenges.”.

Three systems from the LivePremier family are deployed in Circa/Sports and Stadium Swim. An Aquilon C+ powers the huge Led screen of 66 million pixels and 36×11,5 meters of 2,5 mm of the sportsbook (bookmaker). An Aquilon C powers the main betting board of 6 millions of pixels, 12,8×7 meters of 3,9 mm on an adjacent wall and the betting board on the second floor of 1,4 millions of pixels, 3×1,7 meters and 1,9 Mm. Another Aquilon C controls the gigantic exterior screen of 13,7 40 million pixels×12 meters and 6 mm of the Stadium Swim.

Analog Way collaborated with Daktronics by updating the Aquilon configuration as needed, as the designs and sizes of the screens changed until the final moment.

“Aquilon provides high-quality scaling to make matches on the main screen look really bigger than real life”, notes Andrzej Lubaszka, analog way chief technologist. “Matches displayed in one or two windows along the screen are incredibly large: the ultimate visual experience”.

Aquilon also allows the main screen to have a flexible configuration, allowing to display up to 24 events in different windows simultaneously.

Although it is much smaller than the huge main screen, the odds screen of the sportsbook (sportsbook) differs from others that customers have seen. “Normally, have low resolution and are difficult to see”, says Lubaszka. “In Circa|Sports is high resolution and visibility, thanks to Aquilon helping to provide very flexible display options”.

To simplify the operation of Aquilon, Analog Way integrated its solution with system control Crestron, that allows staff to change the layout of screens, direct content and manage audio quickly and efficiently in an easy-to-use dashboard.

“Analog Way was a partner that supported us until the opening of Circa”, Keith Nichols reports, President of DKNQ at Plantation, Florida, who acted as the owner's representative and technical representative of the construction team on the project. “Aquilon is the heart of Circa|Sports and Stadium Swim processing the display of multiple windows in different locations and dynamically changing content “.
