The technology services company Selas System, Specialized in image and sound solutions, has been in charge of the sound project of the sports pavilion of the Marist School Santa María de Orense (Colexio Maristas Santa Maria).

The poor acoustics of this Galician sports venue made it necessary to install a new sound system with controlled coverage, that has been achieved with Constant Beamwidth technology, patented by the manufacturer JBL Professional, brand of Harman that sells in the Spanish market Earpro.

For this project, Selas System has made a combination of array columns of models CBT 70J-1 and CTB 70JE-1 from this manufacturer, to provide extended bass performance and coverage pattern, as well as higher level of sound output.

In addition, these systems incorporate Constant Beamwidth technology, patented by JBL Professional, which represents a significant advance in the consistency of pattern control, achieving superior and uniform vertical coverage, while reducing the narrow vertical beam and out-of-coverage lobes typical of passive column speakers.

A power stage has also been installed for the project XTI2002 Crown, controlled by DSP, as well as a signal processor for installations of the ZonePro 641M model, with six entries, four micro lines with Phantom and two line, together with ZC1 programmable volume control, All of the brand DBX, also by Harman.

For acoustic warnings in the enclosure the option has been a combination with dual wireless transmission, which consists of the SM58 handheld microphone and the SM35 headband microphone, both of Shure. The system offers up to twelve compatible frequencies and incorporates a BLX88 dual receiver and a BLX1 bodypack emitter.
