Christie is the technology partner of the British Academy of Film and Television (Bafta) for this ambitious project, that will have its latest developments in Led panels, Servers, software and projection.

Located in the number 195 of Piccadilly, the renovated headquarters of Bafta Will, as a result of the technological partnership with Christie, with integrated solutions from the manufacturer throughout the building, that include cubes MicroTiles Led, pure laser 3DLP RGB projectors, 1DLP laser equipment, media servers and software.

The cutting-edge technology it offers will provide Bafta with some of the resources needed to expand our talent learning and development program.. With the generous support of our partners and donors, we will give the next generation the tools to develop a career in film, games and TV".

Christie MicroTiles Ledin 2022 Bafta will relaunch its programme to promote training and talent, relying on the radical modernization of its facilities 195 of Piccadilly. Thanks to its online training resource, the new programme plans to reach ten million pupils and to equip each year with 80.000 people with the necessary tools to boost their professional development in film, video games and television, using events, competitions and initiatives.

In addition, initiatives such as Bafta Breakthrough, Bafta Crew and Young Game Designers, in which personalized support will be provided to 4.000 people who have stood out for their particular creative talent.

Among the cutting-edge technology that will support the program includes a videowall Christie MicroTiles Led, 1.2x 2,7 metre, that will welcome the visitor in the access to the building with contents of great attraction.

In the lobby of the Ray Dolby Room two videowalls will be installed, as well as a projection screen, floor-to-ceiling, managed by 1DLP laser projectors, a server Pandoras Box and Mystique Premium Edition, a multi-camera tool with automated functions of warping and blending for stacked and edge-blended projection systems, that executes in a few minutes tasks that previously took hours.

Bafta headquarters LondonIn addition, in collaboration with CinemaNext, the Shaw Theatre will have a Christie projector CP2309-RGB pure laser, in line with DCI standards, that will service screens up to 13 meters wide.

In addition, a series of multifunctional spaces and boardrooms will be equipped with 1DLP laser projectors and LCD panels from the manufacturer, supported by Pandoras Box Manager and Widget Designer to manage and process content.

As part of the Bafta headquarters reform process, whose official opening is scheduled for the beginning of 2022, Christie will be responsible for installation and training services.
