Panasonic Olympic Games Tokyo2021

As the official technology provider of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics 2020, the Japanese multinational Panasonic Deploy 420 large format Led screens, 1.170 projectors and 940 broadcast cameras.

For more than twenty years, Panasonic maintains its commitment to the sport as Official sponsor of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics 2020, that will take place in the 23 from July to 8 of August and of the 24 From August to 5 September, respectively.

This year, the celebration of the world's largest sporting event has a special meaning for Panasonic as a technology provider, as they are celebrated in Japan, country where the company was created more than a hundred years ago by Konosuke Matsushita.

"We will bring all our technology and innovation to the Tokyo Olympics, Including 420 Led screens large format, equivalent to a length of two football pitches; 1.170 Projectors and 940 broadcast cameras which will offer simultaneous reproduction to 220 countries and regions", has pointed out Mirko Scaletti, general manager of Panasonic Spain and Portugal.

In this sense, the manufacturer has achieved great advances in technological and audiovisual development that make the Olympic Games a success of global scope, with a huge technical deployment that place this event as a reference for sport and technology at an international level.

Coinciding with the imminent celebration of the Olympic Games in Tokyo and for the next two years, Panasonic has signed a collaboration agreement with Naomi Osaka, one of the most recognized professional tennis players globally, who has become the ambassador of her image as part of the company's vision to improve society and continue betting on technology for a better life.

Panasonic joins the International Olympic Committee once again in its campaign #StrongerTogether, in order to build a better world through sport and its values. Under the slogan Stronger together, this initiative seeks to promote a message of solidarity and unity through sport, centered on the fact that the world only progresses when it moves forward in unison.

Through this type of initiatives associated with values linked to sport, “Panasonic reaffirms its commitment to sport and society under the motto A Better Life, a Better World, contributing to people's well-being”, notes in its statement.
