Datapath Turqua Police Department

The video walls of the police control center of the city of Van, in Turkey, are managed with VSN972 processor and Wallcontrol software 10 of Datapath.

In the control center of the Police Department of the city of Van two videowall have been installed (in format 4×4 and 2×2) configured with screens Samsung UD55E-B. For its management the processor is used VSN972 and the software Wallcontrol 10 of Datapath.

Van Province is located in eastern Turkey, between Lake Van and the border with Iran. With a surface of 19.069 km2, is made up of 14 Districts. In its capital, the city of Van, a control room was required for the police department to monitor the city's activity. 24 hours of the day, the 7 days of the week.

By requiring two videowall, with the ability to switch content sources between the two, Turkish integrator Vizyonomi used Datapath technology to bring versatility to the control room, with multi-resolution options for optimal detail when needed.

CCTV monitoring

In this way a closed circuit of television cameras has been installed (CCTV) throughout the city, feeding the city's Police Department eight terminals. Other sources were also needed, including news and feeds from internal networks, for a wider information screen.

To see everything holistically, in the main control room a videowall has been installed, configured in format 4×4 with Samsung UD55E-B displays. In addition, in a mezzanic area there is another videowall, from 2×2, also designed with 55 Samsung inches.

To provide optimal flexibility, a Videowall Processor Datapath VSN972 has been arranged with 20 Outputs. They have been connected 16 outputs to videowall 4×4 of the main hall, with 4 outputs connected to the videowall of 2×2 located on the mezzan mezzanus. In this way, monitoring can be done much more comfortably.
When operators need to observe any detail, can be seen much more clearly, with 8K resolution.

The WallControl software 10 Datapath is used to effortlessly manage and distribute fonts across screens.
