Located in the Lingang area of Shanghai, the structure of 38.000 square meters incorporates the considered largest museum in the world dedicated exclusively to the study of astronomy.

Designed by the American firm Ennead Architects and presents an exterior structure without the use of lines or right angles, a concept inspired by the orbits of celestial bodies and the geometry of the cosmos. instead, the three main architectural components of the building, the Oculus, the Dome Inverted and the Sphere, function as astronomical instruments that track the Sun, the Moon and the Stars.
