Nature On2021 Explorium

This new edition of Nature On, named ‘Explorium’, focuses its theme on a maritime adventure, designed with thousands of Led lights, sound effects and mapping by the production company LetsGo, with equipment supplied by Fluge.

Inaugurated a few days ago and as the starting point of Christmas in Madrid, Royal Botanical Garden (RJB-CSIC) once again hosts a new edition of Nature Encendidto, after the success achieved in recent years (more details on Digital AV).

This time, the show called Explorium embarks visitors on amaritime adventure created with light and sound, crossing the ocean and exploring remote places on your outdoor tour of the Botanic.

As in past editions, this natural environment is transformed again by the hand of the producer of shows LetsGo, which has again had Felype of Lima, responsible for creative direction; Victor Tomé, as composer of the soundtrack, and Eduardo Valverde, in lighting design and audiovisual coordination.

This team also has Juan Manuel Lázaro in charge of programming and systems; Álvaro González in the creation of video of the garden area and mapping, and Pedro Masa, in the creation of video of the museum area.

For the supply of audiovisual equipment and lighting, it has once again been counted on Fluge. As far as lighting is concerned, have been deployed around 270 Led pair with IP65 protection; more than 240 IP65 color swimsuits; sixteen Clay Paky Sharpy and eight Mythos; six Martin MAC2000 and two Steal Spiider. Lighting control is carried out with two GrandMA2 control tables of MA Lighting.

Distributed throughout the space of the route has been installed a sound control with 96 Speakers. The technical deployment of video is of vital importance in this project, mainly to perform the mapping.

For this there are seventeen laser projectors Panasonic PT-RZ690BEJ (each with a power of 6.200 Lumens) and with three of the model PT-RZ120BEJ (with 12.500 lumens each), to which are added two laser phosphor projectors Christie DWU555-GS (of 5.400 Lumens) and another DWU635-GS (of 6.750 ISO lumens of light output).

Two Led screens have also been installed, each with a size of 3.5×3,5 metre, with pixel pitch of 2,6 Mm; two Led YV of 80″ and two multi-screen management systems Dataton Watchout.

As in the previous edition, the show was attended by the president of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), Rosa Menendez Lopez; the director of the Royal Botanical Garden, Esteban Manrique Reol; the delegate of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Madrid City Council, Andrea Levy.
