Powersoft at Pabellon Italia Expo 2020

In the Italian Pavilion of the Expo Dubai 2020, twenty-five amplifiers Powersoft, including five Mezzo 602 AD and five Quattrocanali 2404 DSP+D, are responsible for providing the sound to this spectacular experience.

Twenty-five amplifiers Powersoft are responsible for responding to audio demands in the Italian Pavilion of the expo 2020 dubai. A space in which a spectacular scale reproduction has been made 1:1, 3D printed, of Michelangelo's David, created in Florence.

It is expected that more than 28.000 people a day visit this Pavilion in the coming months, until the next 31 March end this exhibition. Designed under the motto 'Beauty connects people', is one of the most popular attractions, with more than 200.000 visits only in October, including the thousands of attendees who have attended the concerts of the famous pianist Ludovico Einaudi and the orchestra Maggio Musicale Fiorentino directed by Zubin Mehta.

The key to this project is the sound experience created by the Italian sound system of the Pavilion, that complements the visual design and its commitment to sustainability, since it is made with two million recycled plastic bottles. The system is powered by 25 Powersoft amplifiers supplied by PRO Lab, company distributor in GCC countries and Lebanon, and installed by the local system integrator Sibca.

Two of the five amplifiers Quattrocanali 2404 DSP+D are used in the main auditorium and restaurant areas, while three others are in the first hull, the white space and the Skywalk (offering visitors a panoramic view of the Pavilion from a 11 metre). two Quattrocanali 1204 DSP+D, the little brother of the 2404 of 1.200 W, are installed in the FS Tunnel, in collaboration with FS Italiane (Italian State Railways – Italian State Railways).

Four Mezzo 322 AD feed the Belvedere, an area that offers a 360° projection of some of Italy's most famous landscapes, and four others on Teatro della Memoria, where the replica of the five-meter David is installed. Otro 322 AD is installed in the lounge.

Also from the compact family Mezzo are the two 324 AD, installed in the cultural space, and innovation, and both Mezzo 604 AD that feed the VIP area and the extra VIP space. Five Mezzo 602 AD, for his part, boost the VIP meeting room, the education laboratory, the head office and cafeteria, as well as joining forces with the Quattrocanali 1204 DSP+D in the FS Tunnel.

In addition to having Italian amplifiers, the speakers of this Pavilion are also Italian in their entirety, and Powersoft amplifiers power a range of speakers Rcf, K-array and FBT.

More than five million people will have visited the Italian Pavilion, designed by CRA (Carlo Ratti Associati), Italo Rota, Matteo Gatto & Associati and F&M Ingegneria using recycled and sustainable materials, when the Expo 2020 come to an end on 31 March 2022.

In addition to the 25 amplifiers installed in the Italian Pavilion, Powersoft products are feeding the national pavilions of Peru and Norway, as well as the Dubai Cares stand and the PPP (Public-Planet Partnerships) hub, at the Expo 2020. An amplifier Powersoft X8 DSP+Dante, supplied by AVI-SPL, also supplies power to the Firdaus Orchestra, the women's ensemble conducted by composer AR Rahman, Grammy Award winner, that will close the Space Week of the exhibition with its inaugural performance.
