The Palace debuts in New York the E11Even Sound speakers

This is the city's first nightlife venue to use E11Even Sound speakers, fruto de la alianza de E11Eleven and DAS Audio. Equipment that provides the electronic music venue with a high level of acoustic energy.

Located on the legendary corner of SoHo and TriBeCa, The Palace es una sala de ocio nocturno que abrió sus puertas a principios de septiembre. Sound Channel & Light fue contratada para diseñar e instalar el nuevo sistema de refuerzo de sonido en The Palace. Its owner and director, Jeffrey Kwan, worked with John Fiorito, responsible for sales for nightclubs and hospitality in the United States, with the aim of formulating a sound system design that would meet the expectations of the management of The Palace.

Together they installed a DAS E11Even Sound speaker configuration designed by Fiorito and commissioned together with Geovanni Ortiz, que utiliza el conjunto de herramientas de software de instrumentación y medición acústica Smaart de Rational Acoustic.

"Given the complexity of offering a good sound in the multiple areas of the premises, John Fiorito was on site throughout the process to help our staff and ensure the highest level of satisfaction to the management of The Palace.", says Kwan.

A four-point configuration with four speakers has been installed on the main dance floor. 2 Way DAS E11Even Sound ES-10. As support in low frequencies, these speakers have the reinforcement of a dual transducer of subwoofer of 21 inches ES-221. This box is located under the DJ booth/stage.
Además se han instalado dos altavoces pasivos de subgraves con potenciador de bajos ES-218 que ofrecen un soporte adicional en las notas más bajas.

The Palace has two bar areas and a second level. The first bar area has two passive speakers 2 Way DAS ES-26, con soporte en las frecuencias bajas a cargo de un altavoz compacto de subgraves DAS Quantum Series Q-10.

The second bar area has four DAS ES-26 boxes and two other Quantum Q-10 subwoofer speakers.
On the second level, the Canal Sound team & Light ha instalado seis altavoces DAS ES6 sobre las paredes. As a support in the low frequencies, there are also two passive subwoofer speakers with DAS ES18 bass enhancer.

As a culmination, la instalación incluye un rack con amplificadores DAS E11Even Sound EP-2K4 and EP-6K4 (one in each), dos procesadores EP-260, and several third-party amplifiers rescued from a previous installation in the enclosure.

The EP-6K4 is used for the ES10 boxes on the main dance floor and the EP-2K4 amplifiers for the ES6 speakers installed on the second level.

When asked about the use of DAS Audio's E11Even Sound Series speakers in The Palace project, Kwan explains: "The ES-10 speakers deliver perfect sound, plus the necessary dispersion and the right look for the main dance floor. Something similar happens with subwoofer speakers, which are very powerful and offer intense and sharp bass. The result is complete sound, rich and natural with the levels of SPL necessary for this type of enclosureW".
