White Light

After the purchase of the AVLM activity (audiovisual, lighting and multimedia) of White Light, the German company increases its presence in the D&b solutions, service-focused.

Amnon Harman, executive director db, and Bryan Raven, Ceo White LightD&b has reached an agreement to acquire one hundred percent of the shares of White Light, an operation that is scheduled to be completed in January 2022. With this movement, seeks to strengthen D&b solutions, company created in May 2021 with the mission of offering "expert and comprehensive" advice to its clients in the areas of services such as planning, installation, maintenance and management of systems.

"White Light is a strategic addition to D&b Group. Its technology and expertise increase the capacity of d&b solutions to offer complete and flexible audio solutions, video, lighting and extended reality (Xr). It is a step forward in the strategic transition of d&B”, Says Amnon Harman, CEO of d&b Group.

D&b solutions acts independently of D&b audiotechnik and focuses on delivering a higher level of service and integration, and end-to-end production and installation solutions to customers. They have independent management teams that depend on d&b Group.

White Light teamFounded in 1971, White Light is a specialist in complete production solutions operating in different markets such as theatres, corporate events, radio and television, concert tours, leisure, education and retail. After acquisition, the company will become part of d&b Group and will be known as 'White Light, to d&b solutions company' , and all existing staff will remain in the company.

One of White Light's key technologies is SmartStage, that has been in development since 2017. It is an immersive video environment that uses extended reality technology to replace the traditional chroma green screen of virtual studios.

The potential of XR technology, in combination with the immersive audio platform Soundscape of d&b and the White Lights experience, open up new opportunities in the market for immersive AVLM solutions.
