Meyer Sound Ultra-X20

With point source technology, Meyer Sound offers in a smaller and lighter size the ultra-X20 full-range self-powered speaker, ideal for installation and portable applications where space and weight are critical factors.

The self-powered enclosure Ultra-X20 of Meyer Sound can be used as a compact main system or as a complement to a larger one, providing high power output, low distortion and constant polar response in any configuration.

This system incorporates the point source technology of the system Ultra-X40 manufacturer's, in a smaller and lighter box for application in installations with tight spaces or as a portable system.

Meyer Sound Ultra-X20Ultra-X20 swivel diffuser produces precise and uniform coverage, regardless of orientation. It is available in three versions Constant-Q for optimal coverage in any application. In addition, has a diffuser of 110×50°, than in the model Ultra-X22 has a more controlled coverage of 80×50º and in the version Ultra-X23 expands to 110×110°.

Ultra-X20 is powered by a three-channel Class D digital amplifier and offers 860w peak, with a sophisticated DSP package that includes a crossover electronic, phase and frequency response correction filters, as well as protection circuits.

As in the larger Ultra-X40 system, the Intelligent AC technology automatically selects the correct operating voltage, suppresses transients, filters electromagnetic interference and provides smooth ignition.

Meyer Sound has also developed the version Ultra-X20XP with the integration of the Intelligent DC technology, allowing you to receive balanced audio and DC power over a single composite cable.

Meyer Sound Ultra-X20 can be configured with any of the three connection panel options. Two AC-powered versions have Powercon connectors looping with XLR audio I/O 3 Or 5 pins and REMOTE RMS Monitoring. Intelligent DC version receives audio and DC power over a single cable, via your Phoenix connector 5 Pin.
