The System Integrator Inytium and Sceno-consult have changed the image of the current rural house Espacio Jijé, a cultural complex that has a large projection screen of AV Stumpfl mobile in your multi-purpose space.

Located in the Belgian town of Fosses la Ville in Wallonia, the rural house Espacio Jijé (Maison rurale Space Jijé) honors in its name the comic book artist of the same name, fruit of its conversion from an old barn to a cultural space that includes rooms for meetings and exhibitions, two auditoriums, with a multipurpose room for 180 people and an outdoor area.

The design of the project, supply and installation of a complete audiovisual system, along with a stage, lighting, sound and wiring has been made by the firm Sceno-consult, that has relied on the technologies of Epson, Verlinde Lifting Equipment, ChamSys and Electro-Voice, to which is added a large projection screen from the Austrian manufacturer AV Stumpfl, made up of Inytium.

Specifically, it is the model VarioClip of AV Stumpfl, the first mobile projection screen of the market that offers a completely clean profile, no bolts or snaps, which occupies a privileged place in what was an old barn.

VarioClip is a modular system, which can be custom-made – which in the case of the Jijé Space has a screen surface of 6.91×4,31 meters-, formed by a basic frame that can be sized to any format and that is fixed by patented hook technology QuickClip to simplify its handling as much as possible.

As he explains Julien Calande, Inytium Project Manager, "We opted for a projection screen from the VarioClip range, that can be moved to the side of the stage when not in use. We had to find a flexible solution that avoided disassembling the screen according to the activity".

In multipurpose spaces such as the one offered by this center "the positioning of the screen is a recurring debate, either in front of the stage for the cinema; in the middle for conferences or in the background for shows. The choice we made was to select a robust, high-quality system that could be moved or suspended with the help of adapted lifting rings.", Says François Hubus, of Sceno-consult.
