Forest County Potawatomi installs extensive digital signage network with SNA Displays

This Forest County Potawatomi community center has a total of 13 Indoor Led screens SNA Displays Bold.

Forest County Potawatomi has recently opened a community centre that includes a network of 13 Indoor Led screens of the series SNA Displays Bold and approximately 22 millions of pixels of digital canvas.

Located near the highway 8 in Crandon (Wisconsin – USA) and with a surface of 9.755 square meters, this is a cultural education center, recreation, athletic training, competence, wellness and social events.

The integrator Camera Corner Connecting Point (CCCP) has been responsible for managing the project to help realize the vision of Forest County Potawatomi.

"Since the beginning of this project, there were four main objectives", Explains Scott Tomashek, Senior Vice President of AV Strategy at CCCP. "State-of-the-art display technology and flexible AV solutions make the entire system easy to operate for community center users. . In addition, everything has been incorporated into the existing aesthetics of the facilities instead of detracting from its value".

Among its wide range of features, the community center houses a gym with a wooden court 1.858 square meters, a country house with the same surface equipped with synthetic grass and a swimming pool 743 square meters.

Gymnasium

After this installation in the court, Forest County Potawatomi decided to add a second hanging center to the digital signage network at the on-site gym.. This is composed of a ring section. Just like the previous one, has a pixel pitch of 2,9 Mm.

Although the original purpose of the digital chandelier was to provide creative content during events, software updates were implemented so that both can display scores for live events.

Common Area

The common area, Which welcomes visitors to the center includes three high-definition indoor screens of 2,5 mm wall-mounted.

The architectural elements of the common area meant that multiple screens were needed for all visitors to have a clear view of the video content..

Camera Corner Connecting Point provided a cloud-based digital signage network that allows each display to display synchronized or unique content, and the video over IP routing system makes flexible use of the screens.

Swimming pool

The community center pool area has two screens of 2,5 mm used to display exercise videos, informational purposes and evening family activities. The pool's Led display panels and internal components are coated to withstand high humidity levels in the space.

Peerless-AV has been in charge of the supports for the screens mounted on the wall of the campus. Each system has been custom designed with high engineering tolerances, to ensure proper fit during the installation process.

Polar Focus provided design and engineering services for the complex mounting structure needed to hang the video circles on the court and gymnasium.

Because the roof structure of the place leaned upwards from the centre of the room and also from the front to the back, a solution was required to suspend these large hanging display systems.

Installed equipment

• Led Fieldhouse and Gym Chandelier: pixel pitch 2,9 Mm. Resolution 336×4.032 and 252×2.520, respectively.
• Two on the grass field and one in the main gym: pixel pitch 2,5 mm and resolution of 1,080×1.920.
• Three on the gym courts: pixel pitch 2,5 mm and 540 resolution×960.
• Three in the common areas and two in the pool: pixel pitch 2,5 Mm. Resolution of 1.260×2.240 (1) and 1,080×1.920 (4).
