Audio-Technica ISE 2022

The ATDM-1012 Digital SmartMixer that Audio-Technica is making known in Fira de Barcelona is a matrix mixer of 14 entries and 12 buses, ideal for a wide variety of audio applications, including situations where Mix-Minus mode is required.

Audio-Technica has taken advantage of its attendance at the fair of Ise 2022 to announce the launch of the ATDM-1012 Digital SmartMixer, a flexible and easy-to-use solution for a wide variety of audio applications, from demanding hospitality environments, corporate and justice chambers, to situations where it is required to use Mix-Minus mode or audio capture of specific areas within a space.

The ATDM-1012, that can be mounted on a rack unit of 19″, is a matrix mixer of 14 Tickets (10 of them micro/line with high quality preamplifiers and two stereo inputs) and 12 buses, USB Audio I/O, eight balanced outputs and two unbalanced stereo outputs. Ten more digital inputs can be added via the AT-Link digital connection or via Dante (with Dante-enabled ATDM-1012DAN).

Each input channel is equipped with phase inversion, low-pass filter and a four-band parametric equalizer, that can be assigned to any of the 12 individual volume adjustment buses via addressing array.

Smart-Mix feature offers four mixing groups that can be in door mode or with gain sharing. additionally, ten ACAs can be assigned, ten Compressor/De-Esser and eight feedback suppressors to any of the input or output channels to ensure the best possible sound performance.

In large spaces, two Audio-Technica ES954 pendant microphone arrays can be connected to the ATDM-1012: the mixer can control the landscape and portrait orientation of the four microphone capsules for perfect coverage.

The versatile and highly configurable nature of the ATDM-1012 is complemented by its ease of operation, audio input/output settings on the front panel and more advanced control with the Web Remote Manager app. In addition, the mixer can be controlled with the IP Remote protocol for greater external flexibility.
