The configuration of this digital canvas of 47 m2 has been made with the solution SNA Displays Bold of 2,5 Mm. It consists of two double-sided columns, joined above at angles of 90 degrees with a third screen section.

SNA Displays has manufactured and installed a digital Led arch through which visitors and users who come to the Whittier Public Library (Califoria). Its realization has been commissioned by the integrator Electrosonic that has had the content provider Render Impact.

For this digital signage project, the team selected the indoor Led video technology Bold of 2,5 mm of SNA Displays. The screen consists of two double-sided columns, joined above at angles of 90 degrees with a third screen section.

Each column, that goes from floor to ceiling, is almost one meter wide; while the top section goes from wall to wall. This means that visitors are briefly immersed in three sides using Led video technology as they pass through 'The Portal' from the main area of the library to the children's section.

This company is no stranger to non-traditional digital screens. Most of the creative work you do is for applications outside of the usual format of 16:9. Digital ceilings, floors, column and corner wraps 90 degrees are his main projects.

For this project, Render Impact created four separate pieces of content. An underwater scene performed in Unreal Engine, the creative incorporation of historical images of the city of Whittier, a modern mid-century bookshelf canvas in 3D and, last, a quiet computer-generated natural scene that highlights the library mascot, Leo, the lion.

"The Whittier Library project was an interesting project for several reasons.. The non-standard screen format of the Led arc always creates a playful canvas, as seen in the Shelf animation. Creating content for both sides of the arc (public side, children's side) gave us a great opportunity to create images for a wider range of audiences. The longer runtime of the 3D animated underwater scene allowed us to mix several small moments for users to discover.", Clarifies Dan Maher, Render Impact Production Manager.
