The multinational Panasonic, sponsor TOP (from the acronym of the Olympic partner) of the Olympic Games and Official Global Partner of the Paralympic Games, has presented its line of equipment and a wide range of solutions that it will facilitate to collaborate in the organization of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang 2018 and the XII Paralympic Games, to be held mainly in PyeongChang County, in South Korea.

In cooperation with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (CPI), the PyeongChang Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2018 (POCOG) and Olympic Broadcasting Services (Obs), Panasonic to supply state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment for opening and closing ceremonies, Competition venues and broadcast venues.

The manufacturer will supply 42 LED video screens and video systems on competition stages, creating a total area of visual systems of 1.640 m2.
