When the Delta Flight Museum decided to renovate its facilities, its owners considered that an environment with twenty years of history should show a more modern atmosphere, more with an eye on the future.

While the interior of the building was remodeled by the architectural firm Stevens and Wilkinson, NanoLumens was in charge of giving it that innovative and technological touch that seeks to engage visitors from the moment they enter this space of 6.317 square meters dedicated to the world of aviation in general and Delta Airlines in particular.

In this way, NanoLumens has installed at the entrance of the museum a NanoSlim screen of 194 inches and 5 mm thick. “With the renovation of the museum, the client wanted to incorporate the latest technology in visualization systems to engage their visitors and capture their attention. They wanted to make sure that visitors were going to stop at the information that is going to be shown on this screen before continuing with their visit.. The NanoSlim is so visually stunning that it is the ideal solution for this project.", explains Nate Remmes, Director of Business Development at NanoLumens.

The Delta Flight Museum is located in two of Delta's former airline hangars in Atlanta (Georgia). These were used from 1940 until the decade of the 60. The Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum, today known as Delta Flight Museum, was constituted in May of 1995. Today it is an independent non-profit corporation organized exclusively for the uses and purposes of public charity that depends on volunteers., Donations, rentals of facilities for special events and the sale of objects from the museum shop.

in 2003 the museum began a renovation process and this June reopened to the public with an environment where visitors can explore the history of aviation, discover who were the people who participated in those historical events and what the future of flights will be.

NanoLumens displays are extremely thin (sometimes only 4 inches thick), ultra-light, Efficient, provides high brightness and no cracks. The display of high-resolution images can be viewed from any angle without color change or distortion. These screens accept the input of almost any device or content management system and do not require any special software or hardware to display the contents.
