After passing through the British security exhibition IFSEC 2013, the Spanish company's facial recognition Herta Security Solutions has started its international expansion with the opening of a delegation in London.
Herta SecuritySpanish company specialized in the development of advanced facial recognition solutions has opened an office in the British capital, office that will become its first branch outside the national market, being one of the most important markets of the world in the sector of video surveillance.
This international expansion comes after the success in your participation in the fair IFSEC (2013, held in the locality British of Birmingham of the 13 to the 16 of the last mayo), in which Herta Security presented BioSurveillance NEXT, your product more innovative to the date.
This new video surveillance system integrates face recognition (for GPU architectures) solutions that are forty times faster in their response than other traditional systems (up to 150 fps), according to company data.
Herta Security Advanced facial recognition technology allows to recognise a face between 500,000 different faces in large spaces, both in movement and with partial occultation (glasses, scarves or hats), in less than a second.
BioSurveillance NEXT is a video surveillance solution for facial recognition of high performance specially designed for the simultaneous identification of subjects in environments large and changing such as airports, stations of metro or train, shopping malls, sports stadiums or urban centres.
BioSurveillance technology records subjects automatically by (on-the-fly) video capture, and also correctly works with changes in facial expression, harsh lighting and moderate face rotations.
This system is capable of processing in time real, video in live or recorded in high definition to a speed of 150 frames by second, for what uses technology GPU advanced. In addition, you can integrate with CCTV, video (VMS) management systems or operate autonomously.
This development of Herta Security, spin-off of the University Polytechnic of Catalonia (UPC), is one of the bets of the company's expansion in the UK market, one of the largest plaintiffs digital security systems. With the opening of the London office, the company began its international expansion directly, while working with partners in twenty different countries and is present in numerous international projects.
