Earlier this year opened the museum Carmen Thyssen Andorra, a space of 250 square meters which hosts temporary exhibitions between eleven and twelve months and will include between 25 and 30 pieces.
This center, located on the ground floor of the old hotel Valira in Escaldes-Engordany, is the first museum collection Carmen Thuyssen who stays outside national borders and has been used display technology to bring the works to visitor. It has been a bet of its artistic director, Guillermo Cervera, and the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Andorra, Olga Gelabert.
In order to make the most didactic and participatory exhibition features four interactive screens, supports that allow each work to deepen more information, see the paintings in more detail and discover issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
