Lumens offers automatic tracking with AI in its new VC-TR40 camera

This new PTZ camera Lumens Equips a powerful self-learning engine that uses artificial intelligence to offer a new level of people tracking and automatic framing, no need for server-based control software.

With a dual chamber design, Lumens VC-TR40 continuously scans and analyzes the entire scene with the device panoramic located at the bottom, while the camera principal, de 1.080p a 60 fps, frames and tracks a selected individual thanks to its silent pan and tilt mechanism and its 20x optical zoom.

Lumens VC-TR40 can switch to a new meeting participant via remote control, the camera's web interface or via gesture tracking developed by the manufacturer.

While automatic tracking is not new, systems from previous generations of devices required an external processing unit, expensive and complex, or forced the presenter to wear a dongle identification.

With multiple simultaneous video outputs (HDMI, SDI, IP y USB), plus DC and PoE inputs, The VC-TR40 camera can be quickly integrated into AV installations, IT networks, video production systems and broadcast workflows.

Incorporating fine adjustments makes it easier for the camera to track within specific areas, in all axes or simply pan left and right, giving the installer the ability to adapt the device to each shooting environment.

The system of advanced gesture control of the VC-TR40 camera allows, when the presenter raises his hand in a meeting or conference, tracking target change automatically, although it also offers the option to do it manually through the web interface.

Plus three tracking and two framing modes, Lumens VC-TR40 can be installed vertically or suspended from the ceiling of the room; when you invest, the camera reorients the image and controls.
