AVI-SPL elige InfoComm 2013 to introduce Virtual Meeting Room for mobile professionals
The video communications provider AVI-SPL has presented at InfoComm 2013 the Virtual Meeting Room service to respond to the collaboration needs of mobile professionals.
In full celebration of InfoComm 2013 in orlando, that ends the 14 June, AVI-SPL, video communications provider, has presented the Virtual Meeting Room service (VMR), in response to demand for enterprise communication solutions and the rapidly growing community of mobile device users.
VMR service completes the company's Video Managed Services business proposition, compatible with all types of systems and demands, whether Microsoft Lync or immersive telepresence rooms.
For this, This new service has been integrated into the company's video communication platform, denominada VNOC Symphony, to which the Communicator Proxy has recently been added, to eliminate the complexity of managing remotely managed devices within the customer's or organization's protected network.
In this sense, Communicator Proxy extends the capabilities of VNOC Symphony beyond the customer's network firewall to remotely manage a meeting room environment without expensive dedicated network connections and complex security configurations.
VMR Service Enhances AVI-SPL Cisco VMDC Architecture and Nexus and UCS Platforms(TM) at its core with Pexip Infinity software, in order to create a reliable option, scalable and low-cost for virtual meetings.
This design allows organizations to support the BYOD trend of their employees, as well as providing a secure virtual meeting room outside the corporate network for mobile users.
Mike Brandofino, executive vice president of video and UC at AVI-SPL, explains that “we have invested a lot to provide the maximum possible options for our customers. We are the only Video Managed Service provider that can provide customers with a Cisco-centric solution; a Polycom-centric solution and,now, a QoS Virtual Meeting Room solution, combined with a unified service team to support all components of the meeting environment”.
This service will allow companies to provide dedicated meeting room IDs for the maximum number of employees, with personal video meeting codes, while you will only pay for the video ports used.
VMR includes support for SIP and H.323 standards-based hardware and software codecs from leading manufacturers on the market., as Cisco, Polycom, LifeSize y www.avaya.com/es. AVI-SPL VMR service is also compatible with video clients Microsoft Lync 2013 and provides port services Skype.
