Daktronics creates an immersive entertainment experience with curved LED screens at The Mall at Millenia in Orlando
The Mall at Millenia, in orlando (Florida) has renewed its video screens with curved LED displays from Daktronics, They are suspended from the ceiling in Grand Court, a large leisure square, entertainment and visual comfort.
In 2002, the Forbes company, owner of the new shopping center The Mall at Millenia, of 11.000 square meters of surface area for shopping and entertainment, in orlando (Florida), chose the technology Daktronics to install a large format LED video screen solution.
More than a decade later, The Mall at Millenia has once again trusted Daktronics to renew its digital signage network with a dozen high-resolution curved LED screens in the so-called Grand Court, an iconic showcase of entertainment Led screens in the center of the facility.

The new curved Led screens are larger than the original designs, three meters high by 4 wide each. Besides, they have 6 mm pixel space, which means quadrupling the resolution compared to the video technology that the shopping center had before.
Among other innovations, These displays feature a surface mount device (3 in 1 SMD) LED to offer high luminosity, wide viewing angles and great image detail.
In addition to the update of the twelve curved Led video screens, Daktronics has also provided the shopping center with ProPixel Led systems, the stick-shaped and free-form elements to vertically illuminate the screen located in the so-called Cone Fountain, located at the main entrance.
The content displayed on curved LED screens constantly varies, with images from the latest couture fashion to fantasy to playful motion graphics or even creative works of art.
An eclectic mix of audio and video content transports visitors to this shopping center in a playful environment, comfortable and creative, with images of the sea to the depths of outer space, with changing scenes and smoke shape effects, etc.
