To take the pulse of the real needs that the professional has in their daily life in this environment, with new challenges and business models, IFEMA, in collaboration with the industry's leading publication Panorama Audiovisual (online newspaper in whose group it belongs Digital AV Magazine), They organize this Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 30 October, Broadcast IT Experience.
These specialized sessions, that will take place at the North Convention Center of Feria de Madrid, present an extensive program in which a total of forty-five national and international experts will present their points of view.

They will be opened by Lluís Borrell, one of the Spanish professionals with the greatest international projection and more than two decades of experience in the sector, who will focus his intervention on both linear and non-linear TV, analyzing the commercial and regulatory perspectives in Europe.

During the different plenary sessions, presentations, round tables and workshops, key issues for the industry will be addressed, such as over-the-top services; “anytime” television, anywhere, anydevice”…; the new models derived from the second screen; the role of public and private television in a highly competitive environment derived from connected television, mobile television; multichannel audio and loudness; immersive sound,… Besides, professionals will learn in situ about the first experiences carried out in Spain in recruitment, storage and broadcast in ultra high definition 4K.

Are telcos transforming the future of the medium and do they intend to become broadcasters?, at the same time that they aspire to be operators? How does the development of OTT services affect telcos?? What ecosystem is possible to create around the second screen? In addition to the Broadcast IT Experience sessions, fifteen workshops have been organized in which professionals will have the opportunity to delve deeper into different areas of the audiovisual business and exchange impressions “face to face” with the best specialists in the industry..

These workshops will address, on the first day, issues such as “all-in-one” editorial finishing with Autodesk Smoke; Hybrid DTT (with special attention to the HbbTV standard, MPEG DASH adaptive streaming and DRM content protection); multi-screen production and file-based workflows and the new possibilities offered by streaming. Autodesk, Abertis Telecom, Panasonic and EVS will be the companies in charge of directing them.
