Editorial Bolina S.L. enters bankruptcy in Spain
The Portuguese-born editor of specialized publications such as Professional Production, Frame, Audio and IP Production-Professional Installation, Editorial Bolina S.L. fires its entire staff in Spain and files bankruptcy.
The Official State Gazette (BOE) published this 7 January the announcement of the Commercial Court number 5 from Madrid, in which the declaration of voluntary bankruptcy of creditors was communicated (former suspension of payments) of Publishing House Bolina S.L., under article 23 of the Bankruptcy Law.
The editor, of Portuguese capital, began its activity in Spain at the end of the nineties with the launch of professional technical titles such as Professional Production, Frame, Audio Production e IP-Professional Installation, as well as in the health environment with World of Optics.
Editorial Bolina had ceased publishing these publications in Spain throughout 2013, in line with what has subsequently also happened with these newspapers in Portugal and Brazil, countries in which the Portuguese company had offices. Now, The court has agreed to the intervention of the debtor's powers and has appointed the lawyer Jesús María Aranda Terrado as bankruptcy administrator.
The past 31 December, was communicated to the professionals who still worked at the Spanish headquarters, the splitting of their contracts at Editorial Bolina S.L.
