Planar UltraRes Touch incorporates ERO optical glass technology with Corning Gorilla Glass
The new line of screens 84 inch UltraRes Touch from Planar Systems, now available on the European market, now features the company's patented ERO optical glass technology along with Corning's durable Gorilla Glass, to improve its durability and performance as a multi-touch digital signage system in high-traffic locations.
Among the new features that the manufacturer Planar Systems has incorporated 4K UltraRes Touch technology into its screen, of 84 inches, highlights support for up to 32 Simultaneous touch points for multi-user applications, both in video wall support and in multi-touch table.
Precisely for this reason, The company has incorporated its patented ERO optical glass technology with the resistant Gorilla Glass sheet into this screen. 3 con Native Damage Resistence de Corning, which offers greater durability and resistance to scratches and continuous touches for its application as a digital signage system in public environments with a large influx of people.
This is what Becky Connors has pointed out, Product Marketing Manager at Planar Systems: “the addition of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Our ERO optical glass technology significantly improves the performance of the UltraRes Touch touch screen., since by increasing the number of contact points we needed to provide greater resistance, while enhancing the audience's immersive experience. For large public environments, museums, educational centers, companies…, Planar UltraRes Touch offers all the necessary features where touchability helps group collaboration”.
Powered by Planar ERO technology, Gorilla Glass sheet 3 It is optically bonded to the liquid crystal cell through a process patented by both manufacturers that offers greater durability and high resistance. Both technologies protect the system from dust and humidity, in addition to improving image contrast by eliminating the air gap between the screen and the glass.
Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistance offers a slimmer design, which helps reduce touch errors without reducing touch sensitivity and response time, as well as greater hardness and consistency against scratches that can cause the glass to break.
Besides, Planar UltraRes Touch features a narrow bezel of 1,3 inches, with a mounting depth of 3,6 inches (vertical y horizontal), thus complying with the North American ADA regulations for systems and protruding objects in public environments.
