The La Térmica cultural space in Málaga has inaugurated the John Lennon exhibition & Yoko Ono: Suite 1742. A space that, through the audiovisual equipment installed by Vitelsa, recreates the mythical pacifist protest that both artists carried out at the Queen Elizabeth hotel in Montreal in 1969.

The space The Thermal is a center for contemporary cultural creation and production of the Malaga Provincial Council that seeks to develop a new look at reality.. An environment for creation, learning and leisure that has areas where you can get closer to the most varied artistic forms, enjoy live music and a complete range of cultural activities.

The past 23 January the exhibition “John Lennon” was inaugurated & Yoko Ono – Suite 1742”. Former Beatle John Lennon and his wife, the artist Yoko Ono, they starred in 31 May 1969 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal (Canada) one of the best-known pacifist protests against the Vietnam War in the history of music and art of the 20th century. An initiative from which, among others, the famous song Give peace a chance emerged..

For the implementation of the audiovisual elements of this exhibition, La Térmica has had the collaboration of Vitelsa through the company Comtemporánea that has developed the production of the Exhibition.

Exposicion Lennon Yoko Ono Suite 1742Vitelsa has aligned the audiovisual installation with the guidelines of the exhibition curator, Mario Martin Pareja, ensuring compliance with artistic requirements and contributing to enhancing exhibition messages through technological resources.

The exhibition has as its central axis the legendary collection of photographs by Bruno Vagnini, authorized by the couple on the occasion of the performance performed in the suite 1742. The introduction to the history of this well-known photographic series is carried out with the support of documentaries projected on several large format display systems distributed in the room., complemented with self-amplified sound equipment.

Exposicion Lennon Yoko Ono Suite 1742Thanks to these contents, the visitor is introduced to the conceptual creations of John Lennon and Yoko Ono., with the broadcast of fragments of the films and experimental creations of both. Some of the elements that made up the conceptual album Wedding Album are also exhibited., closely linked to the exhibition since it includes photographs of the wedding ceremony, the Amsterdam bed-in and original Lennon drawings.

In a complementary way, Vitelsa has configured the projection room present in the exhibition venue with a large format screen and a self-powered audio system. Musical recordings are continuously projected in this space., exhibitions and photographs of the Plastic Ono Band, John Lennon and Yoko Ono's band, as well as artistic elements of their individual artistic trajectories.

About this, Vitelsa has designed and installed an articulated structure at height with a sound system and high-luminosity HD equipment that projects, overhead and on the bedding, the video Give Peace a Chance and the documentary Bed Peace, recreating for the visitor the famous staging of the charismatic couple.
