Canon XEED 4K500ST: 4K projector with compact and lightweight design for installations

Thinking to meet the demand of the high resolution market, Canon has launched the XEED 4K500ST projector, a team of 5.000 lumens ideal for use in installations at short distances, as well as for applications in public spaces, engineering and simulation.

Canon has entered the 4K projector market with the launch of the XEED 4K500ST model, a compact and lightweight design device designed for use in installations, as well as a wide range of applications, including simulation, medical imaging and engineering.

Thanks to its high definition LCOS panel and 4.096 x 2.400 pixels, The XEED 4K500ST can project content that exceeds the resolution of 4K digital cinema. With its exclusive and improved AISYS optical system (Aspectual Illumination System), the projector offers a higher contrast ratio, pure, intense colors and authentic reproduction of black areas, which improves the viewing experience.

The XEED 4K500ST is capable of displaying very detailed images, good quality and high definition, making it ideal for engineering applications, CAD design work (Computer-Aided Design) and 3D modeling that require high levels of detail.

With a constant luminosity of 5.000 lumens throughout the entire zoom range, Its use in public projections with high levels of ambient light is also very suitable.

Thanks to the new 4K wide angle zoom lens, The XEED 4K500ST is capable of projecting large images from short distances, in addition to having a peripheral focus function that allows the projection of images on curved screens.

It has an opening (f/number) constant throughout the entire zoom range, always maintaining an f/2.6 aperture whatever your position. For this reason, The brightness in the tele position of the zoom range is practically the same as in the maximum wide angle focal length., making it easy to install and replace, without having to readjust the ambient light balance.

With a latency time of 16,6 ms, incorporates a new ultra-modular design with easily accessible lamp and filter, even once the projector is installed, making service quick and easy.

Thanks to edge melting technology (edge blending) high definition, Multiple Canon XEED 4K500ST projectors can be combined to project large images, cast with very little distortion. Four-corner keystone correction for edge fade makes the setup process simple and easy to achieve.

Regarding energy consumption, in 'Eco mode', The lamp in this Canon projector uses only 470 W and lasts up to 4.000 hours before requiring replacement.
