Telefónica Digital Education offers initiatives to cover all phases of learning

The company shows its educational initiatives ScolarTIC and STEMbyme, two new portals for teachers and students of the 21st century, as well as the inter-school contest 'STEM Challenge' to apply the knowledge acquired in scientific subjects.

Promoting digital education in such a way that it promotes equal opportunities as well as the construction of a new global and inclusive society is the proposal with which Telefónica Digital Education participate in SIMO Education 2015 with several initiatives.

This commitment takes shape in two new learning platforms, open and free, for the educational community of Spain and Latin America based on technological and pedagogical models of collaborative learning that support the development of new skills in teachers and students: ScolarTIC (for teachers) y We would (for the students).

These two learning portals are complemented by STEM Challenge, inter-school competition for the development of digital applications and projects that promote technological bilingualism, in which teachers with a group of students, of 12 a 18 years old, They will be able to apply the knowledge acquired in STEM subjects in a project that develops innovative technological solutions.

Another of the solutions that Telefónica Digital Education promotes in SIMO Educación 2015 is MyriadX, digital platform based on MOOCs content that promotes free learning (more details in Digital AV Magazine). Its training model is based on social and collaborative learning and the free use of educational resources.

Telefónica Digital Education also promotes in the Siele contest (International Spanish Language Evaluation Service), the computer-based Spanish exam created to respond to the growing demand for evaluation and certification of our language.
