Panasonic will present at ISE 2016 a line of screens for digital signage with SOC technology
Designed with System on a Chip technology (SOC) and equipped with the OpenPort platform, Panasonic's AF1 line displays are presented as a cost-effective and self-contained solution for high-impact digital signage applications.
The AF1 series will be one of the new features with which Panasonic will go to WHEREAS 2016, a line of displays that use an OpenPort platform powered by HTML5 and Android, and have a quad-core processor 1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage. This system replaces expensive external Wintel systems that require wiring, additional assembly and installation.
The new Panasonic displays have a frame of 6,3 mm and are available in versions of 42, 49 y 55 inches. All of them are designed for 24-hour uninterrupted operation.×7 and can be placed in both vertical and portrait orientations. The IPS screen 500 cd/m2 that they incorporate guarantees optimal lateral visibility, ideal for equipment that can be installed with an inclination of up to 45 degrees forward or backward.
“The AF1 series is certified by Google, allowing software companies to create specific applications for both digital signage and other applications. Another advantage of this new series is the integration of a multimedia player and its compatibility with WiFi., elements that reduce wiring complexity. Besides, It is not necessary to use an external player if you want to play videos and photos easily. The display's open API allows you to control it by installing third-party software on the OpenPort platform.
