Charmex creates the first training academy in Led technology
Under the name Led Academy, this initiative, which will take place in Madrid and Barcelona throughout 2017, will offer training workshops aimed at integrators and rental companies.
The B2B provider of the audiovisual sector Charmex has created Led Academy, the first academy in Spain designed to offer training in Led technology, an initiative consisting of training workshops aimed at integrators and renters that will be carried out throughout the 2017 in Barcelona and Madrid, and will include modules on fine pitch, indoor fixed installation, outdoor fixed installation, rental y sports.
This project, pioneer in our country, part of the commitment assumed by Charmex in aspects related to the training of its channel and is part of the strong impulse that the company is giving to the Led market.
“The increasing interest in large-format LED screens for all types of spaces has generated a great demand for information and training on the different possibilities and aspects covered by this technology.”. And we want to accompany and help all the integrators and renters who see LED as an opportunity, delving into its technical and commercial aspects”, explains Rubén Sánchez, responsible for the Charmex Display department.
The training sessions will be taught by specialists from the company's Display department and will have the collaboration of external guests, from experts from different manufacturers, to consultants specialized in the different facets of Led technology.
Led Academy has been structured into five modules that will be developed throughout the year. 2017: fine pitch (January and February), indoor fixed installation (March and April), outdoor fixed installation (May and June), rental (September and October) y sports (November and December).
Each of these modules will be made up of two sections. One focused on the commercial part of strategy and product development, y, other, oriented to the most technical aspects of the product, both pre and post-sales level.
“The interesting thing in that sense is that several people with different profiles from the same company can participate.. In each of the modules we will do an analysis of the market and we will talk about the different solutions that are currently marketed, both screens, as software, control electronics and all kinds of accessories, and always covering commercial aspects, technical and marketing. For example, In the technical part of the modules, work will be done on the configuration of the equipment and its accessories, such as NovaStar controllers”, comments Txep Calzada, Led Product Manager at Charmex.
The first module will be focused on the fine pitch and will take place on the days 27 of January and 24 February in Barcelona, y 30 of January and 1 March in Madrid. “We did not want to start this initiative with another topic other than the fine pitch, because it is where the market is pointing in the coming years. In this first module we will also talk about the future migration of LCD videowall monitors to Led screens, as well as the evolution of this technology”, Txep Calzada points out.
The objective is for the workshops to have a round table format to promote active participation of attendees and to create a debate forum in each of the sessions.. Participants will also be able to interact with the solutions and products present at the Charmex facilities in Barcelona and Madrid., where the workshops will be held. All sessions will be recorded so that interested parties can view them later from a private area of the company's website., along with the presentations of the speakers and all the training material delivered in the workshops.
The Led Academy modules will last five hours spread over two days (two and a half hours per day). Registration begins on 9 January and places are limited. The courses are free for the company's clients.
