Equaphon features in Caper 2017 Powersoft's new audio technologies

As a distributor of the Italian firm in Argentina and Uruguay, Equaphon has participated in a new edition of this technology fair that was recently held in Buenos Aires with innovations for the audio environment.

With a stand divided into its three business areas (live sound, installation, recording and broadcast), Equaphon has participated in the recent edition 2017 of Caper, the lighting technology fair, audio, broadcast y cable, in the capital of Argentina with news from the brands it represents in this market and in Uruguay, as Powersoft.

Inside the live sound sector, Equaphon assembled various M Series amplifiers, K y X de Powersoft. Specifically using the X4 and X8 models, Luca Gianni, Powersoft systems engineering manager, performed systems alignment demos with the version 2.10 of the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software and its interaction with Smaart v8.

In the area dedicated to facilities, professionals learned in detail about Duecanali amplifiers, Quattrocanali y Ottocanali, in versions with DSP and without DSP, from the Italian firm. Also for the same market, Equaphon announced the arrival of the STS mikraSub12 system (your own brand), that expands and completes the mikra line of sound diffusion columns.

One of the Powersoft products that most attracted the interest of professionals was Deva, a r multimedia infotainment system, entertainment and surveillance 'all in one', waterproof and solar powered, which can be used in numerous applications: from background music to paging or for real-time messaging and communication with surveillance and HD audio and video.

For the second year in a row, participated in an outdoor demo of various audio systems so attendees could see and hear them in action, with two systems (active and passive) of its own brand STS Touring Series, with Powersoft amplification.

In the case of the active system, they presented two STS Msub -with M-Force technology- with seis STS SLA Line V7+, and in the passive configuration two STS Concerto Infrasub, with four STS Linea V5, all amplified with a single Powersoft X4 and the possibility of creating a cardioid arrangement with the subs. Both systems could be controlled from the Armonía software, and attendees could see it on a big screen.

After presenting in the edition 2016 from Caper the Msub high-performance amplified subwoofer, based on M-Force engine (1×30”) from Powersoft and designed to achieve high sound pressure in the lower frequency band, with frequency response 23 Hz a 90 Hz – 10 dB.
