Sono supplies AV equipment for the IESE Global Alumni in Madrid

once again, The Madrid Conference Center has been the setting chosen by the out to celebrate their Global Alumni Reunion. An event held in mid-November and attended by around 2.000 personas. For its realization, I am provided audiovisual equipment and technical assistance from Emotion Technologies.
The stage composition was made up of three large-format projection screens, two placed on the sides, inclined, of 4.8×7 meters each, and a central, of 43,4 m2.
A projection system consisting of four projectors was used. Barco HDX Flex the 20.000 power lumens, two of them in Edge Blending format for combined display of images on the central screen. This technology allows perfect calibration of the projectors with the aim of achieving a higher quality image, with great luminosity and high definition.
Live content management was carried out with multi-image visualization and presentation software Dataton Watchout and control system Barco E2.
Sono is also in charge of carrying out the live performance of the event by installing three HD cameras, two of them fixed and one mobile with a Dolly rolling platform to facilitate coverage and carrying out travelings in the room.
Lighting and audio
Two Line Arrays of Kara loudspeakers were used to provide sound in the auditorium. (8+8), Front Fill Kiva system of reinforcement speakers for the first rows of the audience and stage monitors L’Acoustic 108.
The speakers had wireless microphones Shure ULX. In total, ten DPA headset microphones and four handheld microphones.
The event required a simultaneous translation system (Spanish-English, english-spanish) for which Sono also provided the equipment and necessary technical assistance.
The characteristics of the room and the scenic configuration required lighting services for the different sets on the stage. (lectern and seating area), but also perimeter and decorative lighting of the side and rear walls of the stage. One of the technical challenges of the event was the management and synchronization of the lighting at the back of the stage with the progressive appearance of content on the central screen..
More than 30 lighting projectors through the Watchout system. For ambient lighting, different colors were used combined with gobo projection..
