Sennheiser's Sound Control Protocol (SSC) is planned to be used in different Crestron APIs allowing remote monitoring and configuration. This includes TeamConnect Ceiling 2, which will support remote access to audio parameters, mute, and customizable Led control.

TeamConnect Ceiling 2, which will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, features adaptive and automatic beamforming technology, allowing you to focus on a speaker's voice inside the room, regardless of position. The innovative ceiling microphone also supports Dante and Power over Ethernet networks, and will support Crestron's surfaces and control interfaces, providing complete control and flexibility to enterprise installations.

"We're at the beginning of the path of what we can do together, and we see tremendous potential for TeamConnect Ceiling 2. We see a great opportunity here because ceiling microphones will become a key part of the functionality and aesthetics of conference rooms," explains Bob Bavolacco, crestron Alliances gherendo.
