Lawo exhibits at ISE its most advanced developments for IP signal processing
The German manufacturer has come to Amsterdam with its latest developments for IP signal processing, among which the IP Smart network monitoring and telemetry system stands out.
The assistance of Theirs a WHEREAS 2019 focuses on its latest native solutions for processing, control and monitoring of IP signals, among which the routing platform stands out, V_matrix software-defined IP multiview and processing, Power Core Engine audio engine, the real-time monitoring and telemetry system for IP Smart networks, the graphical user interface design tools VisTool and the independent and global control system VSM.
Lawo's V_matrix ecosystem is based on generic high-capacity FPGA-based core processing modules on which Virtual Modules are loaded. (VM) software defined to create the required functionality. Multiple cores connect via 40GE Ethernet interfaces (o 4x10GE) redundant to an IP network to form a distributed IP processing and routing matrix that provides clean and accurate frame switching, same as a legacy baseband array.
Lawo Power Core is a 19" audio processing unit.″/1RU providing 96 fully equipped DSP channels, 80 buses and a 1,920 routing matrix×1.920. Eight rear side slots accept a variety of IO cards for microphone interfaces, Line, AES, MADI and headphones; in addition to having IP and MAD connectivity. In addition to standard audio processing, like dynamics and equalizers, Power Core also features advanced audio assist systems such as one-touch AutoGain and 32 AutoMix instances to automatically maintain balance of open mics.
Lawo's Smart range includes the smartDASH real-time monitoring and telemetry system; a software for network and media visibility over an all-IP WAN/LAN infrastructure, all-SDI o hybrid; and smartSCOPE network analyzer and packet inspection.
