AES67 is a set of layer protocols 3 Designed to enable interoperability between a variety of IP-based audio networking systems. AES67 is supported on Tesira Dante compatible equipment, such as TesiraForte Dan and DanA-1 cards.
AES67 is multicast traffic that uses IP addresses in the range 239.69.x.x.x/16. The sampling rate is 48kHz and the streams include up to 8 canales. Data link required 1 Gigabit for AES67-enabled Dante endpoints.
AES67-enabled Dante devices support PTP v1 and PTP v2; while non-Dante AES67 devices, often, only compatible with PTP v2.
