The new software update for EOS consoles Etc includes the Augment3d 3D and augmented reality visualizer, an innovative tool designed to save time and costs throughout the assembly process of a lighting show.

Augment3d is the first integrated 3D programming environment from this manufacturer that offers professionals the possibility of virtually designing and controlling a three-dimensional space, in addition to using the new augmented reality technology, fully integrated into EOS remote apps.

blankWhile the final version of this three-dimensional visualizer is expected to be available next fall, yes there will be a beta this summer, and that is why ETC has already begun to share information to get the most out of this visualizer (in the attached video) on the channel that Stonex, official distributor of this brand in Spain, has on YouTube.

The main function of the system is to work in conjunction with EOS consoles, from Element to Ti, but it is expected that in the short term Augment3d will be integrated with other ETC controls, since the company's objective is to deploy this new proposal to all its business lines.

blankOne of the strengths of Augment3d is not only focused on 3D modeling – since there is software on the market that does an impeccable job in this field., as underlined from the company-, it allows you to import any creation that the user has from another program, thanks to its compatibility with a multitude of file types. Improved integrations with Vectorworks are currently being worked on.

For users who do not work with 3D modelers, the program itself has a wide variety of objects in stock to create a space from scratch by adding devices, furniture and even people. The software is designed to work with the way light is distributed in space.

Augment3d has a simple and intuitive interface for both adding objects and importing projects, as well as to move through the space or change the view of it. It is a very useful tool to calculate at a glance what an illuminated space will look like and optimize the programming process.
