Customers, integrators and distributors of the Dutch multinational have been able to know in detail and in action their latest developments, the joint solutions with partners and their strategic vision to continue with a constant growth and as a reference of the market ProAV.

The Barceló Marbella hotel hosted the past 8, 9 and 10 October Showcase 2019, the annual event of Philips Professional Display Solutions (PDS) that on this occasion settled in the Spanish Costa del Sol to make known its latest news and promote networking among customers, integrators and distributors.

Philips PDS Showcase 2019 was divided into three areas: Signage, Pro TV and an area dedicated to plenary sessions and demonstrations of the sixteen partners that have accompanied the audiovisual multinational to publicize new developments that make the most of technology developed by this Dutch manufacturer.

Attendees in this area met the solutions developed by technological partners such as Admira, Advantech, Exterity, Grassfish, Intel, Nanovo, Navori, Otrum, Peerles-AV, Shoppa, Signify, SignStix, Telelogos, Telenor/Connexion, Trison and Vogel's (more details in the attached video).

Franck Racape, Vice President EMEA at Philips (pictured below), highlighted during his company's event the significant growth of collaborative environments, which open up new possibilities for interaction between digital screens and different interface systems.

The new collaborative tools high-end, of which Philips Showcase 2019 has shown excellent examples by numerous partners, are bringing new experiences in the corporate and education environments.

Racape explained to attendees that in the last two years, Philips PDS has managed to position itself in the third position in the market in terms of sales in digital signage solutions, which has materialized with the signing of numerous projects in public locations , corporations, transport, retail, hospitality and education.

In terms of the professional television area, the company holds the second position in the market during the last four years, with outstanding growth in sales in Spain and Portugal.

Buen ejemplo de ello es la integración de la tecnología de realidad aumentada en sus pantallas profesionales mediante el uso de la app ARc, que gracias a su intuitiva interfaz permite desarrollar atractivas presentaciones en sistemas visuales individuales así como multipantalla.

Además, tanto las soluciones de señalización digital y los televisores profesionales desarrollados por la compañía integran actualmente el sistema operativo Android, lo que aporta un rendimiento extremadamente rápido y una gran flexibilidad en cualquier aplicación.
