Philips brings entertainment and excitement to its MediaSuite screens with Netflix integration
The manufacturer has received approval to include Netflix functionality in the Android MediaSuite Hospitality system and in the new professional televisions that can be seen during its participation in ISE 2020.
The TVs in the MediaSuite Android range, Hospitality and Pro Philips Professional Display Solutions (PDS) will be offered directly with streaming service functionality Netflix integrated, as part of new enhancement updates occurring this year for both existing and new equipment.
Introduced in 2019, MediaSuite was the first range of professional televisions in the world, as the company points out, to incorporate Chromecast and share content with a single click (presentations, images, movies, music, etc.) from a personal device.

In this line of innovation, The Netflix platform will be available on all new Philips MediaSuite televisions, as well as in the new range of professional televisions that will be presented during their participation in WHEREAS 2020, of the 11 al 14 February in Amsterdam RAI (pavilion 10 – estand -K170).
Access to the streaming service will also be offered as part of a planned firmware update for current MediaSuite TVs running Android P software., which can be simply included via USB and then on the TV or deployed across the entire facility using the Philips PDS CMND server. A new remote control with a Netflix button for instant access will also be made available to customers.
As part of the warranty Extended lifetime de Philips PDS, all updates will be available for free, for both new and existing customers of the MediaSuite range, meaning these professional TVs will literally get better over time and ensure a greater return on investment.
