The BIT Media Organizing Committee has agreed on this decision as a result of the economic situation generated by COVID-19.

BIT Media, Professional Audiovisual Technology Salon, organized by IFEMA and so far biennial, has postponed the celebration of its edition of 2020, scheduled for the days 28 to the 30 October, until new dates in the year 2021 that the sector a more favourable holding environment that allows it to boost its commercial activity.

This decision has been taken after the meeting held in the past 24 of June with the Organizing Committee of BIT Media in view of the current context generated by the health crisis in the economic and social fields generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

IFEMA thanked companies and professionals in the audiovisual industry for their understanding and support in this difficult decision, and they hope to continue working together in a future call with the commitment to build an effective platform that contributes to the business and growth of the sector.

Panorama Awards, in 2021

blankThe postponement of BIT Media will also mean that the next edition of the Panorama Awards, granted by the online newspaper Panorama Audiovisual with the aim of promoting technological innovation in the sector, and whose delivery gala was scheduled for the next 28 October, is also postponed to 2021, coinciding with the opening of the Professional Exhibition of Audiovisual Technology.

These awards, which are usually delivered biennially coinciding with the first day of the main fair of this sector in Spain, recognize excellence, technological development and business innovation, professionals and television productions, my e, radio and advertising.
