Philips series 7000

Philips PDS has announced its led range for interior more flexible and versatile, the L-Line series 7000. To your design, only limited by imagination and creativity, a brightness of 1.200 Nits, optimal connection and low cost of ownership.

Developed from the feedback received, the new series 7000 overcomes many of the traditional barriers and limitations, in terms of size, shape and brightness, of the Led installations, in addition to addressing the cost of ownership (energy saving) and resistance to incidents such as fire, for safer performance, personalized and imaginative.

Designed for use in the most difficult lighting conditions, including direct sunlight behind a glass, these frameless screens of 1.200 nits are available in any design, size and shape.

“The market has spoken, and we have responded. Whether it's a corporate office, a store or public space, with the new Philips L-Line series 7000, we are removing limitations and providing the tools and freedom for our clients to be as creative as their imagination allows.”, comments Martijn van der Woude, Director of Commercial Management, Philips PDS.

Any type of curved design

All screens in this line are available with a height of 25 cm as standard, with variants of 50, 75 and 100 cm wide. They can be mixed and joined without problems in any format, either four screens or a thousand.

Equipped to satisfy even the most ambitious and creative designs, the series 7000 it is also available in standard flat format or with inclined beveled corners (for L-shaped corners and curvatures, as well as in 90-180 Degrees) for convex and concave curved designs. All units have been designed to keep the cables tidy.

To make installation easier and faster, all Led panels are calibrated in the modern and state-of-the-art Philips PDS factory, which means that it is not necessary to do it on site. This reduces interruptions and inconvenience.

With Philips Active Health Monitoring, all displays can be managed remotely 24/7 and any potential problems (up to pixel level) can be corrected and fixed before it occurs, while an IP30 compliant coating ensures that they are protected from dust, dirt, fungi and moisture; reducing the chances of short circuit and corrosion.

“A blank panel is a sign of failure”, clarifies van der Woude. “It doesn't matter how simple or extravagant the installation may seem and how amazing the content displayed is., an inactive panel will always be what people attract and remember. It's important to us that that scenario is avoided whenever possible.".

In addition, the series 7000 has Dynamic Power Saving technology (Dynamic energy saving), that allows to reduce up to one 20% running costs compared to other similar models on the market, reducing total cost of ownership without compromising quality or performance, a must-have for owners of screens with many geographical locations.

“Safety is of the utmost importance, especially in places of great influx of public, such as shops and public locations, so this series has been designed to provide the highest levels of firefighting, slowing the spread of flames. The solution has been tested and certified with the British standard BS476, the European B1 DIN4102 and the North American UL94”, explains Jeroen Brants, Product Manager of PPDS Led Displays.

Martijn van der Woude concludes: “Whether it's a traditional installation or something more extravagant that flows seamlessly around the doors, the series 7000 simplifies the spectacular.”
