In the field of monitors, the news focuses on the ColorPro 8K model, as well as the new 4K. To these solutions, screens designed to optimize teleworking come together.

ViewSonic CES VP Series

ViewSonic has taken advantage of the celebration of Pepcom Digital Experience and Showstoppers in CES2021 to announce the line of products that will hit the market this year.

Among the new features announced are the company's first 8K ColorPro monitor with Adobe RGB, color sensor and color blindness modes; and an improved portable LED projector with 1080p and smart connectivity.

“Our ColorPro monitors offer color blindness modes and ensure high accuracy for professional content creators.”. In addition, “We have 4K and 1080p projectors that can provide excellent content on a big screen.”, comments Jeff Muto, Business Line Director at ViewSonic.

The ColorPro line has five new models in 8K resolutions, 4k and 2k. The biggest novelty lies in the VP3286-8K, a monitor 32 inches with native 8K resolution (7680×4320) y Adobe RGB 99% for a wide range of colors. Includes color blindness mode with advanced color adjustments and better color recognition, and connectivity options including Thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort y un hub USB.

On the line with native 4K resolution (3.840×2.160 pixels) the monitor is located 32 inches VP3286-4K and those of 27 inches VP2786-4K and VP2776-4K.

The first two offer characteristics very similar to 8K, while the VP2776-4K, includes color blindness mode, and offers a color space 100% DCI-P3 for digital video and cinema editing, with USB-C connectivity options, DisplayPort y un hub USB. This same equipment is available in 2K resolution (2.560×1.440).

Thinking about teleworking

To respond to the new needs of teleworking, ViewSonic has introduced the monitor 24 inches VP3286, ideal for video conferencing and native 1080p resolution (1.920×1.080). Incorporates a Full HD webcam, with adjustable tilt and physical shutter for privacy; omni-directional microphone and two 2W stereo speakers. In terms of connectivity it includes: VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB A/B and audio output.

The VA3456-MHDJ is an ultra-wide multimedia monitor of 34 inches with native WQHD resolution (3.440×1.440), an aspect ratio 21:9 and frameless design that provides additional screen space for more content. Incorporates AMD FreeSync technology and can decode HDR10 video signals. Includes a glitter 420 cd/m2 and as connectivity options it includes HDMI, DisplayPort and audio output.

As portable monitors, The new features are represented by the TD1655 and VG1655 models.. The first is a portable touch model 15,6 inches with 1080p resolution (1.920×1.080). Features a touch screen with 10 Capacitive points for a smooth, natural writing experience (stylus included), three-sided bezel-less design and connectivity with two USB Type-C ports for two-way charging and mini-HDMI.

The VG1655 shares resolution, size and features, although it is not touch, but it includes a base that supports vertical and horizontal orientation and includes a screen protector.

4K projectors

In the 4K projector segment (3.840×2.160), The new models are the PX701-4K and the PX748-4K. The first with 3.200 ANSI lumens brightness, 240Hz and 5ms response time (in 1080p resolution), easy installation features including deformation, automatic vertical correction and manual horizontal/vertical trapezoidal and four-corner adjustment.

Features the latest Texas Instruments DLP XPR chipset for HDR/HLG content support; and includes HDMI 2.0/HDCP connectivity options 1.4, USB 2.0, audio-out y RS232.

The PX748-4K offers 4.000 ANSI lumens brightness. Features large screen direct streaming with a single USB Type-C connector. Features a user-friendly setup with 1.3x zoom, deformation, automatic vertical correction and manual horizontal/vertical trapezoidal and four-corner adjustment.

Finally, The M2e is a Led projector with native 1080p resolution (1.920×1.080) which has a USB Type-C connector, color space 125% Rec.709 for high image quality and proprietary Cinema SuperColor+ technology. Includes Harman Kardon speakers, Bluetooth y Wi-Fi, and as connectivity it has HDMI 2.0/HDCP 1.4, MicroSD and audio output.
