Previz disguise

The technologies of Mapping Matter and Previz for remote collaboration and cloud-based 3D content preview, respectively, will be integrated into the platform disguise.

The acquisition of Mapping Matter and Previz by disquise Responds “to the accelerated demand for remote collaboration and cloud-based systems for creatives and technical teams to share their vision and progress with project owners”.

These latest acquisitions mark the next step in disguise's growth, after investments of Carlyle Group and a minority stake of Epic Games in March 2021.

Mapping Matter disguiseMapping Matter, a web-based tool for the technical design, is used in the simulation and the photometric analysis of AV installation projects, mainly by live design teams working for companies like Cirque du Soleil, Moment Factory, Creative Technology, Etc.

Previz offers a workflow to design assets, plan projects and communicate ideas from a single browser. This platform has been used in events, both live and virtual, for brands like BBC, Fitbit or Land Rover.

Both Mapping Matter and Previz share a reputation for delivering interactive cloud-based systems for designers anywhere in the world. By integrating both platforms into the disguise platform, users will be able to develop and manage their projects in a unified workflow.

blankAs a result,, users will be able to collaborate, import, preview and make creative decisions about the end result together, while sharing their work with clients and colleagues around the world.

The disguise software, widely used in broadcasts and live programs, helps teams develop storyboards, create camera tours, validate content, test technical configurations and design complete projects.

Its timeline-based interface allows you to build a 3D model, either a Led volume, a live stage or the façade of a building, and map real-time content with pixel-perfect in the simulated environment.
