Peerless-AV adapts your 55" Xtreme screen″ to extreme climates

To meet the requirements of very hot areas, The XHB553-EUK Xtreme Outdoor Display is cooled by a fan that reduces heat buildup caused by thermal loading from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Peerless AV has announced its new generation of screens Xtreme High Bright Outdoor Display of 55 inches for applications in very hot climates and extreme temperatures. The model XHB553-EUK maintains a high IP and is now lighter, with significant mechanical and operating system improvements, which include diffusion of thermal load, custom brightness programming, automatic source switching, power saving and pixel shifting.

To meet performance requirements in hot or very sunny climates, The XHB553-EUK outdoor screen is cooled by a fan that reduces heat buildup caused by thermal loading from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

The operating temperature of the screen ranges between -35 °C y 60 °C, and patented thermal exhaust system keeps internal components cool in extreme heat conditions.

Offers 2.500 nits of light output with a sensor that automatically adjusts brightness and adapts to time of day conditions, reduces light pollution at night and optimizes energy consumption.

The screen XHB553-EUK is a 25% lighter than the previous generation of 55 inches and includes a gyroscopic sensor that detects any movement. IP66 rated, protects against water ingress, dust, dirt, humidity and insects, and an IK10 tempered glass cover secures it against vandalism.

Peerless-AV will show its new generation of Xtreme High Bright Outdoor Displays 55 inches and the latest kiosk solutions in WHEREAS 2022 (stand 3F700), which will be celebrated from 1 al 4 February at Fira de Barcelona.

Features:

• Automatic source switching: allows you to set the display to search for a secondary content signal if the primary source fails. This ensures there is no downtime.
• Power programming: Allows you to set a specific time and date to automatically turn on and off.
• Brightness programming: Eco and custom settings allow you to use preset modes that adjust the intensity of the backlight level based on the time of day. An important feature at night, where regulations dictate the brightness of digital signage, especially near roads.
• Power saving mode: It is possible to set the time for it to turn off or go to sleep mode if there is no content signal. The LAN port can also be configured in passive or active mode to reduce power consumption when not active.
• Pixel shift: Useful if using static content to avoid image retention. The horizontal or vertical displacement of an image is adjusted to a specific frequency.
