Visual Productions DmxMerger: DMX signal mixer/merger
With six inputs and one DMX output, optically isolated, The DmxMerger offers three different mixing or blending modes.
Visual Productions, brand that distributes SeaSound, has in its catalog the signal mixer/merger DMX-512 for DIN rail, DmxMerger. A device that has six optically isolated DMX inputs and one output.
The DmxMerger offers three different mixing or blending modes: last order preference, preference the highest value and priority.
The first mode selects one of the LTP entries based on the port that had the most recent change. This can be a change in channel levels or a DMX signal being activated. Preference mode the highest value is used to combine the HTP inputs and the LTP merge result. In this mode, each DMX channel is compared between the inputs and the highest value is forwarded to the output.
In Priority mode, if there is a DMX signal at the Priority input, this is forwarded directly to the output. In this case, all other inputs are ignored.
Priority input can be used to connect the main DMX controller. If it fails, The DmxMerger will instantly switch to a secondary DMX controller connected to one of the other input ports.
When the DMX installation requires more than one controller, DmxMerger can combine the outputs of multiple controllers into a single DMX network.
