Prolights in South of France Arena

Para actualizar la iluminación de la entrada del edificio del Sud de France Arena and evenly cover the entire structure, both interior and exterior, have been installed 20 Projectors Prolights ArcPod 48Q.

Designed by the studio A+ Architecture and open to the public in September 2010, the Sud de France Arena of Montpellier is a large enclosure whose roof is supported by four beams with a wingspan of 110 metre. It has been designed with pastel colors on the side facades and mauve purple at the bottom of the impressive cantilevered entrance..

The Sud de France Arena resorted to S-Group Equipment to renew the original lighting of the building entrance.

The structure of the surfaces and volumes to be illuminated required a compact but powerful projector, with different optical dispersion options, to cover the entire structure, both interior and exterior, uniformly.

In collaboration with ESL, Christian Rebatel from S-Group Equipment and Jean-Marc Sevene of Sud de France Arena selected 20 ArcPod 48Q of Prolights. These were chosen for their Full RGBW Led, your IP66 protection, the numerous holographic filters, the simple RDM configuration and its great luminous qualities.

After several series of on-site tests and a complete study of the lighting, projectors were equipped with 40° symmetrical and 30° holographic filters×60 asymmetrical degrees, to map the entire surface evenly.
