Uniview and Ozlook at Melbourne Airport

The Welcome Center of the Melbourne Airport has been renovated and several screens have been installed, including the Led P1.6 solution of Uniview.

In order to cope with the fast pace of the airport and offer a better customer experience, Ozlook has deployed a good number of led screens of large format digital signage, including indoor and outdoor at Melbourne Airport. The solutions of Uniview has been chosen for the last initiative that has been launched in the welcome center.

Aussie Look (Ozlook), based in Melbourne and founded in 2012, aims to, as a strategic partner of Telstra, provide communication products and services to local residents and international travellers.

To cope with the increase in international travel, Ozlook planned to open a welcome center where the most innovative in Led technology predominates. Uniview was selected as a solution provider for its quality and to adapt to the requirements of the project. As for display products, this company offers pixel pitch fine solutions, Led lamps, control systems, power and other components.

Being one of the busiest airports in the country, a large number of people enter and exit passing through the welcome center on a daily basis. So that these passengers and visitors could locate the information of the services more quickly, a renovation of the service centre was established, which was originally located in the center of the airport.

As a provider of professional surveillance and visualization products and solutions, Uniview, in collaboration with Ozlook, designed and performed the entire update. In the plan of customized solutions has been included the installation of a more immersive visual experience that includes several high definition Led screens. Use of the display supports has been the Led module P1.6 with aspect ratio 16:9 to play images and video clearly in 4K resolution.

Scheduled advertising

Ozlook also wants to have tools that allow you to know what kind of advertising content you can really attract customers., information that could help them determine which ads are best to invest in to maximize profits.

According to this requirement, Uniview has installed panoramic fisheye cameras from 360 degrees with heat map function to perceive customer aggregation. The more travelers gather, more interested will be in the ad. Your preferences can be clearly presented by the image captured by the camera.

Front maintenance

Based on advertising preferences, OZLOOK wanted to achieve an uninterrupted rotation of ads, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Such a large workload for displays would require maximum durability.

Being one of the busiest airports on the continent, the solution could not have constant repairs and maintenance functions. The LED lamp, Uniview's power supply and control system have a capacity to support more than 10.000 hours. UNV products are based on very light and fine materials, facilitating subsequent maintenance. Even in urgent accidents, front access could save a lot of time when it comes to repairing.

Uniview has helped optimize the Welcome Center, providing better service and information to travelers, while allowing you to digitally analyze customer preferences to deliver content that reverts to higher revenues.
