PPDS Franck Racape

Franck Racape, Martijn van der Woude and Robert Hsu expand their roles in PPDS – Philips Professional Display, to direct commercial management, business development and marketing, and product, while its CEO, Chris Colpaert, leaves office.

As part of its growth strategy, the new senior management structure of PPDSPhilips Professional Display materializes with three leaders – Franck Racape (in the image above), Martijn van der Woude and Robert Hsu -, who expand their roles in the company to global operations, at the same time that the departure of the hitherto general director is confirmed, Chris Colpaert.

The current Vice President of EMEA, Franck Racapé, and the director of international business development, Martijn van der Woude, together with Robert Hsu, lead the business globally as global chief commercial officer, Head of Global Business Development and Marketing, and Head of Global Product Strategy, respectively, reporting directly to Nico Vernieuwe, Senior Vice President of POS, the parent company of PPDS.

This new management team has been structured to further accelerate the growth plan 2020 – 2025 of the company globally, designed around three strategic business pillars: global markets; business development and marketing, and product management.

As they point out from the company, the three managers have worked closely together to successfully monitor the latest development of PPDS, which includes a large-scale rebranding of the company and the launch of an entirely new market strategy in 2021.

Franck Racape, who joined the company in 2011, has been instrumental in the commercial success of PPDS in EMEA, including the deployment of its global partner programs and a growing number of customer support initiatives.

now, Racape assumes commercial leadership for all international markets, with the exception of China, in order to reflect this momentum and coordinate the implementation of the new strategy at the global level.

PPDS Martijn van der WoudeMartijn van der Woude (in the attached image) started his activity in PPDS at the beginning of 2019 and has been responsible, among others, of the company's continuously expanding direct vision LED portfolio, as well as initiating and developing its sustainability roadmap.

Van der Woude's activity will also be expanded into a newly created role that combines business development and marketing at a global level., with a focus on end-to-end integration of the company's dynamic go-to-market strategy.

PPDS Robert HsuFor its part, Robert Hsu, who has played the role of head of global product strategy since joining PPDS in early years. 2020, continue the expansion of the company's portfolio of products and solutions, which has gone from being a traditional manufacturer of professional digital signage and TV to include interactive and collaborative displays, Signage TVs and DV Led in the last two years, as well as a cloud remote display management platform to be unveiled shortly.
