Canon ISE 2022

The visual image ecosystem of Canon Europe, mainly oriented to the production of virtual and hybrid video for different environments, is the proposal that visitors can know in their stand in Fira Barcelona-Gran Via.

Ise 2022 is once again the contest chosen by Canon Europe to exhibit a wide range of audiovisual imaging solutions, with a space (pavilion 5 – stand K515) that star in the developments of virtual video productions, as well as hybrid, to respond to the demand created since the pandemic.

"We are excited about our return to ISE, due to the success of previous years, he says. Matthew Koshy, Canon Europe European Product Marketing Specialist-. Since the last time we participated, in 2020, the industry has changed its focus. This year we expect to see more solutions aimed at hybrid learning and working, as well as individual user systems and virtual production configurations".

That's why, the Canon stand at ISE 2022 echoes this, with solutions that meet this demand: from multi-camera configurations, in collaboration with your partner Seervision, specialist in AI-assisted camera automation software for video production; up to 8K cinema cameras and an area dedicated to virtual reality (VR).

"Our stand at ISE 2022 reflects this reality, Koshy emphasizes.. It will be very interesting to see it as the main theme of this fair. We are facing a fascinating time for the industry and looking forward to connecting these four days with our customers".

Leveraging Canon's optical heritage and expertise, the range for 2022 incorporates high quality audiovisual solutions, available for end users and system integrators visiting your space to experience and learn about its potential for diverse environments.

Multi-camera configurations

In response to the growing demand for content and the need for remote productions, efficient workflows and production methods, Canon brings creative solutions for a variety of production scenarios to its space at ISE with its multi-camera setup.

Since it was introduced last year, this is the first time that the range of PTZ cameras of Canon, formed by the models CR-N500 and CR-N300, is shown at a major European trade fair.

Visitors can see how these cameras are used in combination with the professional camcorder XF605, to showcase solutions for corporate markets, higher education and live events. In the latter environment, the PTZ's ability for direct IP relay is evident, compatible with various IP protocols, offering high quality images UHD 4K, with low latency.

Canon has partnered with Seervision to showcase the automatic tracking for remote production. This Swiss company has developed a AI-assisted software (AI) for follow-up multi-camera dynamic and fully autonomous.

The software's compression of the scenes and actions unique to each person using artificial intelligence, combined with Canon PTZ cameras, allows end users to transition between one shot and another without intervention.

In addition, collaboration with Seervision embodies how Canon's range of PTZ cameras can be used in a higher education context, with automatic tracking, connecting to multi-camera workflows to meet the hybrid needs of universities.

Hybrid Recording Solutions

The recently introduced camera EOS R5 C, the first full-format Cinema EOS 8K of Canon, also has a prominent space in this contest as a hybrid recording option for the AV market.

Thanks to a CMOS sensor high-resolution full-format, the Digic X processor and the RF mount, high-fidelity 8K video recordings are possible, record internally in fRAW ormato and capture photographs of 45 megapixels at speeds up to 20 frames per second (Fps), all with a single EOS R5 C camera body.

Virtual reality zone

Visitors to the Canon stand also have the opportunity to see an exclusive demonstration of virtual reality capabilities (RV) of the manufacturer in a dedicated area, with content captured with the EOS R5 camera and the RF target 5,2 mm f/2.8 L Dual FisheyE.

In collaboration with Varjo, creators of virtual reality headsets, visitors can enjoy during the days of the event an immersive content experience with this technology, generated with Canon equipment.

In addition to the different areas of the Canon space mentioned, there are other equally interesting manufacturer products, as the CR-X300 cameras, EOS C70 and XA45, as well as some equipment from its range of professional monitors, including the model DP-V2411.
