The agreement with Vioso will allow camera calibration up to 16 4K projectors, from a single Picturall Pro media server Analog Way. It will enable dome projection and on all types of irregular surfaces.

Analog Way Picturall Mark IIAnalog Way has announced a collaboration agreement with the German company Vioso to integrate its projection calibration technology into Picturall. This addition will allow and facilitate new applications for this multimedia server, like the 360° cylindrical projection, full dome and panoramic, projection mapping and simulations.

“We are very happy to work with Vioso, the standard for camera-based automatic projector calibration”, states Samuli Valo, CEO of Analog Way Picturall Media Server Competence Center. “The knowledge and tools of the team, combined with our Picturall system, will make it very easy to build multi-projector installations”.

This integration will allow camera calibration of multiple projectors (until 16 4K equipment) from a single media server Picturall Pro. It will enable dome projection and on all types of irregular surfaces; for fixed installations, Vioso's tool will facilitate automatic recalibration of projectors.

“Our latest software development, Vioso 6, has allowed us to combine the Linux-based Picturall with our technology with the fluidity that is required today”, points out Benjamin Fritsch, CEO of Vioso.
